Book Club – Jeff Cavins’ book “When You Suffer”

As we enter Lent, I invite you to join colleagues in our Guild in deepening our relationship with Jesus Christ, the Suffering Servant and the model for all who suffer. As you know, the word “patient” comes from the Latin for “one who suffers” – so understanding those who suffer is our duty as Christians and as physicians.
We will be reading through Jeff Cavins’ book “When You Suffer” and meeting to discuss the first 3 chapters during Lent. The book is available at your favourite bookseller. Here is a link to a preview of the Kindle edition: https://a.co/drel4Nb
