The activities of the TCDG are aimed at fostering a profound life of prayer that is coherently intertwined with our respective roles as Catholic physicians, residents and students. The goal of our activities is to support and equip today’s Catholic physicians for the numerous challenges that stem from the current medical, political and cultural contexts.
Guild Membership fees facilitate the organization of conferences, spiritual retreats, networking, social activities, and professional development seminars on medical ethics with a particular emphasis on the support and formation of Catholic medical trainees.
A portion of your annual fee ($50) secures membership in the Canadian Federation of Catholic Physicians Societies (CFCPS). Through the CFCPS, we connect with other Catholic Physicians on the national and international levels. The CFCPS also promotes the formation of students and lobbies on behalf of Catholic medical professionals on key issues such as Conscience Rights.
